Compared to the past, when birdwatching relied on long focal length lenses or binoculars, observing or photographing birds from a distance was not only expensive but also often unsatisfactory.

In this context, smart bird feeders not only address the issues of distance and time but also allow for better capture of stunning bird moments. A price tag of $200 is not a barrier for passionate enthusiasts.

Moreover, the success of smart bird feeders indicates that as monitoring products expand their functionalities, they are gradually extending to meet the demands of niche markets, which could also become lucrative.
